I'm currently using some software with a hotkey that moves the mouse cursor to the next display in the same proportional position. Because I don't like mouse acceleration, this is really handy for when I'm switching between windows on different monitors and don't want to have to drag the mouse all the way across. I noticed that DisplayFusion currently has hotkeys for locking/unlocking the cursor to a specific window or monitor, but nothing for moving the cursor. Could this feature be integrated into the program?

This is currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote, and if we're able to add it in the future, I'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks!

I'd like to +1 that. What I really need is "center mouse on primary screen." Is that on the list?
It saddens me that your competitor has some nice mouse hotkeys. (But I like you guys better!)

Vote added! We are still planning to add these mouse related hotkeys in the future, so I'll be sure to post an update when we do.

We've just released DisplayFusion 5.1 Beta 11 (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/), and there are now a bunch of Mouse Cursor related Functions on the Settings > Functions tab. Just assign a key combination to the ones you want to use, and you're good to go.

Thanks!

These changes are most welcome. However, I'd like to propose two additional things:
- Ability for shortcuts to move to a specific monitor (eg move mouse to monitor 1).
- Make "move to monitor" and "keep mouse locked in monitor" play well with each other. Essentially, what would be ideal is that the mouse cannot mouse outside the current monitor, but it is possible to use the shortcuts to move it to another monitor. I'd consider this one to be of highest priority since other programs can do the first, but they don't play well with DisplayFusion's locking of the mouse in the current monitor.

In Beta 13, there's now a Function that shows the monitor selector when the key combo is pressed, so that you can choose which monitor the mouse cursor jumps to. You can also add a new custom Function, and choose "Move Mouse Cursor to Centre of Monitor #X" as the Function Action, if you want to create different key combinations for each monitor.

Regarding the lock to monitor/move to monitor Functions, I like your idea, so I'll add that to our list.

Thanks!

We've released DisplayFusion 5.1 Beta 16 (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/), and you can now move the mouse to the next monitor with a hotkey, and the mouse will re-lock itself to the new monitor.

Thanks!
