The problem with having spectacular (multiscreen) wallpapers is that you rarely see them while you are working.

As a compromise how about a "screen saver" type feature that minimizes all the current apps in order to show the wallpaper when you are not working?

This would be implemented as a simple real screen saver app bundled with DF, or as part of DF itself.

Admitedly it wouldn't take much to knock up such a stand alone screen saver exe, but bringing it under the Display Fusion umbrella seems to make sense.

I am investigating proper dual monitor screen saver support for a future version, but currently this isn't on the radar. v2.3's multi-monitor taskbar support is eating up all of my time! :)
