Hello all,

New here but been using Display Fusion for a while and finally decided to slam the money down for this awesome app.

So.. with that said, forgive me if this is a repeat request or im missing something some where.

Would it be possible to allow you to move windows between monitors via Display Fusions taskbar? My situation is this. I use my main monitor as a monitor for my consoles as well. So when in games, my second monitor is up and visible. Id like to be able to pull windows over to the second monitor via the taskbar.

Cheers,
-Wolfen

Well to get anything of the sort you would have to start with having all windows on all monitors, after that Jon could code something or as of now, you can use the above with keyboard shortcuts, to the same effect that you are looking for. Just set the taskbar to show all windows on both taskbars, click a window you want, and if you cant see it then keyboard shortcut, the default is ctrl+ flag + z for proportional movement.

True very true on the hotkeys. I have been using them for just that. =)

How ever im curious what you mean by having all windows on all monitors.

Settings window, taskbar, taskbar window options, last option. It should help you out a good deal.

Also Jon, any chance of adding one for all windows on DF and relevant on windows taskbar? I could see myself using it.

Extra taskbar was the other reason I got this.

Anyhow, thanks for your input thus far. Its much appreciated.

In versions 3.1.8 I will be adding an option to control what middle-clicking a taskbar button does. Right now it opens a new instance of that application (if you have it enabled in the Settings). However, starting with 3.1.8 you will be able to configure the middle-click to do one of these things:

- Nothing
- Open a new instance
- Close this instance
- Move application to next monitor

The "Move application to next monitor" should allow you to do what you want, without having to use a hotkey. :)

Sorry, it was too late to sneak it into the 3.1.7 release. :)

Will this apply to the windows taskbar as well?

I'd love a scroll-click function that moves my windows, or closes it or w/e.

Sorry, this functionality will be limited to the DF taskbars. :)
