It would be nice if we could configure the time after which the second taskbar auto-hides. Alternatively, it should hide at the same speed as the Windows native taskbar.

Currently it takes about 3 seconds to hide after losing focus which, while not a long time, is still much longer than the Windows 7 native taskbar. I would prefer that it hides immediately after losing focus.
