Issue
When multitasking, I find myself spending more time than necessary to locate applications. This is especially true in Windows 11 which forces open windows to be automatically grouped.
The visual representation of applications within Windows Taskbar Thumbnail Preview are less than prominent and therefor difficult to identify contents of the open applications in the Taskbar.
Example: https://imgur.com/mBYRmFW
The alternative is Alt+Tab which has the same design fault. Task View has a much more prominent preview; however, it is not grouped by application such as the taskbar (it behaves like Alt+Tab, showing the most recent apps)
Feature Suggestion(s)
A.) Offer a feature within DisplayFusion to modify the Windows 11 Taskbar to override grouping and behave more like Windows 10.
---- OR ----
B.) Modify Taskbar Thumbnail Previews to be larger. This can be done with a registry tweak (
https://asapguide.com/resize-windows-10-taskbar-thumbnail-preview/, but would be a welcome addition to the settings with Display Fusion.
---- AND/OR ----
C.) Group the applications within Windows Task View (which already have prominent application thumbnail previews) by application type. e.g. Keep all the Excel thumbnail previews together, and so on and so forth with the other open applications. Then organize the grouping of application previews by most recently used.
Thank you for your consideration of these feature requests and thank you all of the hard work and dedication that has gone into your apps. A computer isn't "my computer" until DisplayFusion and ClipboardFusion have been installed.
