It's not currently possible to set video files as the desktop wallpaper, but it is on our feature request list. If we're able to add it in a future version, we'll be sure to let you know!
Thanks!

I'd also be very interested in some sort of video wallpaper and would also like to be informed if this feature makes it into the product.
Keep up the good work, I adore displayfusion.
Will do Sean, thanks for the kind words!

displayfusion is a fantastic utility, and I just want to add +1 to this request so that you know which features people are interested in. Thanks for your effort, and the collaboration with Steam.

I am also looking forward to this! I'd LOVE to get the following live video stream as my wallpaper. Even better if it can span across three 1600x900 monitors in landscape mode! http://www.ustream.tv/channel/iss-hdev-payload
@Will54: I'm not sure that we'd be able to support that stream, as it seems to be a Flash player embedded on a page. At the moment it will be local video/gif files. We may add support for online streams in the future.

Haha wow this is amazing! Thanks so much for listening to us. One and a half years later and I had forgotten I wrote in this thread. I'm using it now on Windows 10 and it's great! Really appreciate the implementation.
