Not sure if this is already a function for multiple monitors - description . . . here goes

WIN KEY + E produces a window, WIN KEY + E produces a second window in the same monitor.

I know it is an absolute nothing function but could a repeat window request produce a window within the next screen, as I or most people only open two screens to drag and drop across.

I know this is laziness to the extreme but it would also look good to anybody behind you as you tab up two screens via hotkeys!

"Oh? yours doesn't do that? :) "

I think we could do this with a Scripted Function. We'll see if we can write up a sample script for this next week :)

I was able to put a scripted function together that should do what you need. To use it, you will need to set up a trigger with the newest DisplayFusion beta. Here's how to set it up:

  • Open the Triggers tab in the Settings window
  • Click the 'Add' button to open the Edit Trigger window
  • Set the 'Process Filename' to the Windows Explorer application
  • Set the 'Window Class' to "CabinetWClass"
  • Add a 'Run Function' action to the actions list, that runs the script I have attached to this post

I have also attached a picture of what your trigger window should look like when everything is set up correctly.

I hope this works for you!
