Hi there,

Thanks for Dispayfusion. It's brilliant.

Currently setting up keyboard shortcuts for window management. I've set the option to make a window move to the top and size to 50% with WIN CTRL PAGEUP and WIN CTRL PAGEDOWN for the lower 50%.

This is great for a HD monitor in portrait mode. However, for a 4k monitor it would be handy have 4 windows stacked vertically. So something like size to 25%. I noticed you can make custom actions, but this requires to enter pixel values and other settings. Is there an easier way to do this? Just when you have 4 windows and want to stack them on top on a portrait monitor, each 25% of the height. Preferable with 1 key combination. Any ideas?

Another option I don't quite grasp is the save windows position. You can save it, but how do you load the positions again after the windows have moved? What is the use of this feature?

Hope to find some answers. Keep up the good work!

This can be done using a Scripted Function. Are there only 4 windows on that monitor, or are there more? We can write up a Scripted Function that would do this automatically with 1 hotkey if that's the case :)

Regarding the window positions, there's a second function called "Restore Window Positions from Last Save." Just give that a key combination and then run that when you want to restore them.

Thanks!

Cool cool.
Would you be kind enough to make that script? Yes, it's always exact 4 windows on top. 25% height each.
I will give my order number if necessary.

Sure thing! I'll post the script when it's available.

Thanks!

Thanks!
I got one little error, after I pasted the script and pressed verify:

Compile Failed.

Hey Keith, would you mind adding the same for a 21:9 monitor?
4 windows, each taking up 25% of the horizontal space.

Ideally it should have hotkeys to move the current window to spot 1,2,3 or 4.

I think these should be built-in by default :) The scripts are just text after all!

I've modified the previous script to stack the windows horizontally instead, let me know how it works for you. :)
