After update to 3.4.1. beta 5 middle-button click do nothing with Firefox 8 (ONLY) instead of moving it's window to next monitor.
Please check it.

Does it open a new tab when you middle click the titlebar?

Sorry about the change, but unfortunately Firefox didn't always respond correctly to the middle-click in previous versions of DisplayFusion. You can still use the middle-click, you just need to middle-click the min/max/close buttons in the top-right corner of the window. Thanks! :)

It do nothing, no new tab appear.
Yes, sometimes middle-button works when click over min/max/close buttons, but not always.

Arrrrr :) . Console/Far manager windows, then Adobe Reader X, then Real VNC and VMWare Workstation. Now Firefox. It's time to move on to use keyboard shortcut CTRL+WIN+X instead of mouse and black applications list.

Our apologies, we had removed it because of issues in Windows 7, we'll get it fixed up for XP in the next beta.

Thanks!

We've just posted 3.4.1 Beta 6, and it should be back to normal for Firefox in XP.

Thanks!

A, yes. It works, S-W-E-E-T :)

I know, I don't wanna to migrate to Windows 7 & and others cause of too few features for me to pay 3 (my PC amount) * $100.

Hey Guys,
would it be possible to get a toggle to activate or - in my case - deactivate "new tab on middle click" for FF?
I'm using FF in a classic view - meaning tabs are below (and not on the title bar) - and therefore this feature/option has no use for me.

Would be much appreciated

P. B

edit: I'm using Win 7 x64

@paddyb: I can definitely add an advanced setting for this. Maybe something like "Treat top-tab browser windows like normal windows"? I'll add this for Beta 9.

Hey guys,

This isn't working for me either on Firefox 8.0 + DisplayFusion Pro 3.4.1 + Windows 7 64bit.

Where can I download the latest Beta?

Thanks,
E71

3.4.1 has the Advanced Setting to control this, just enable the one shown in the attached screenshot, and then restart DisplayFusion.

Thanks!

howdy y'all,

thanks for this tweak! [*grin*] i was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why ff & tbird were suddenly ignoring title-bar-middle-click. set the tweak shown in post #15 and all is hunky-dory again.

btw, i do NOT have tabs on top in either app, so i presume the setting is for apps that default to that setting. tbird will start doing that soon and there is no way [yet] to disable it. [*sigh ...*]

again, thanks for the tweak to get back what i so often use ... [*grin*]

take care,
lee

I've confirmed the issue with the Chrome dev build and we'll see what we can do.

Thanks!

@Pavel: This issue should be all fixed in the just-released Beta 14. Could you give it a try and let me know how it goes?

Thanks!
