2 more programs displaying this behavior are kompozer and teamviewer
Ok, thanks! Sorry for the delayed response. For some reason this topic fell off of my list. I'll keep you posted as soon as we have more news!
Thanks!

Add VLC media player to the list of applications. Thanks!
Will do! Could you attach a screenshot of the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration window as well?

Thanks! Do those functions fail on all monitors? Or only a specific one?

all monitors, the move to monitor x and resize to 50%, or whatever size spreads the application across all 4 monitors and even moves it out of the screen view, or depending on which monitor the application starts with, may spread it across 2 monitors.

I think I can repro this now. Does it make any difference if Waterfox/Firefox is maximized or not before you run the function?

it doesn't make a difference and also this isn't just in waterfox/firefox, I get problems in notepad, file explorer, etc. yet it works fine in outlook, word, chrome, etc. makes no sense to me
Ok, when the window is restored is it filling the whole screen still? I'm wondering if any of the edges of the window are within 7px of the other monitor. It seems to be an issue of Windows returning the wrong scaling value because the invisible window borders are actually partly on the next monitor which has a different scaling setting.

if you mean if the window is partial size then maximized? then yes it does fill the whole screen again
Sorry, what I meant was, when the window is not maximized, is any edge of the window touching (or very near) the edge of the monitor that it's on?

it doesn't matter whether the window is touching or not. so if i have an unmaximized window with the borders not anywhere near the edge of the monitors the behavior is still the same
Can you try 8.0 Beta 4 to see if you still run into this issue?
Thanks!

I still have the same problem after upgrading to beta 4
Ok, I think I've mostly gotten this figured out. Your monitors 2 and 3 are set to 200% scaling, but 1 and 4 are set to 100%. If you change 1 and 4 to 200% so that they're all the same scaling level, does this issue still occur?

the max my 1080p monitors would scale was 175% so i scaled them 175% and left 4k at 200% and the problem still persisted. however i scaled everything down to 150% and for the MOST part that seemed to fix it. the resize to 50% and move to left or right half of monitor command seemed to leave a tiny sliver of the app on the other screen however when i press the same command button again it fixes it.
the problem is i can't have all monitors scale the same resolution since that would be impractical.

yes but why does it work ok with chrome but not firefox, or notepad? makes no sense why certain software works and other's don't
