This looks like a different issue so I've split it off to a new topic. Is this with 7.1 Beta 1?

yes i have automatic update on. The high cpu load came back as well albeit more gradually, it takes days to build up. Quitting DP immediately makes cpu load go down.

Ok, could you send over a debug log the next time either the flashing taskbar buttons occurs, or the high CPU load occurs? I'll need the log from when the CPU usage of DisplayFusion.exe was actually high. Here are the steps in case you need them again :)
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Actually, before sending the log, could you update to this build?

the cpu is completely OK with the beta3, it's running at about 10% instead of around 60% idle. the flashing is discovered the cause of.... I have a simple screendimmer installed Pangobright if i disable it the flashing goes away. I guess it's just Windows setting the view to maximum brightness and Pangobright setting it back again...

Case solved :) Tnx for the excellent support!
