I've been running DisplayFusion 10 accidentally for a while because I didn't realize that "check for new Beta versions" was unchecked (it seems to uncheck itself automatically). Since upgrading to v11, the "Force application to start on same monitor as Taskbar" doesn't seem to be working anymore on any of my applications. VSCode, Notepad++, Vivaldi, Thunderbird, Filezilla, Scrivener, etc. - none of them seem to respect the setting of opening on the monitor that the taskbar icon is pinned to. This was working vine with v10 for me. I've tried disabling PowerToys to see if something with that was interfering but the problem still persists.

I'm running Windows 11 Pro 23H2

I was able to reproduce that here so I've added it to our list to look into.

Thanks!

We've released a new beta that should fix this up, please let me know if you run into any issues after updating.

Hi Owen, I've been having the same problem with programs pinned to taskbars not opening on the same monitor in the previous beta. Today's new beta (v11.0 Beta 5) seems to have had no impact and the problem remains for me.

Sorry I didn't see this. I got the latest beta (beta 5) and it's not working, so I assumed it hadn't been worked on. I finally decided to check the forums to see if there were any updates to it. I still consider it a mild annoyance - mostly when opening multiple browser windows for my two side monitors that flank the main one. Hopefully you'll get it figured out eventually. I know it was working fine in v10.

Same issue here and that is the reason I bought displayfusion. Hope this is fixed soon. Thanks.
