I recently setup a brand new machine with a fresh install of DF. The secondary taskbars freeze up fairly often and the mouse just turns into a spinner icon when mousing over them. The main taskbar is still totally fine.
If I click on the secondary taskbar a few times, it just totally crashes the main DF app, leaving a blank space where the taskbar had been on the secondary monitors and I have to restart DF from the start menu.
I have tried updating to the latest beta, 10.1 Beta 8. Same issues.
Attaching the debug log file as well as screenshots of constant CPU usage of the main app while the taskbar is hung and then task manager after the app crashes. It looks like the underlying services are still running fine, just not the app itself.

If you head to C:\Users\(YourUser)\AppData\Local\CrashDumps, is there anything listed for DisplayFusion? If so, could you send over the latest file?

There is nothing in there today. I did look in there the day I posted and there was an explorer.exe dump, but nothing for DF. Maybe the explorer one was related. I did keep that one, attaching here in case it helps.

I have been having the same issue and popped in to report it when I saw this. The only information I have is from Windows Reliability History and all it says is thatDisplay Fusion stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. There is no error code or stack dump included in the report. Windows then directs me to see Security and Maintenance, which is where reliability history itself is located.
This started after Windows 11 updated to 22H2. The number of crashes in other applications has increased along with this one.
Are there any crash logs in your crash dump folder?

Hi wanted to chime in as I'm also experiencing the same issues. No crash logs listed for displayfusion but here's what it looks like via task manager with the columns shown.
Edit: also added debug log as well.

Just tried the beta and while not unresponsive there are pretty bad delays in minimizing and restoring windows from the taskbar. I'll include the debug data here as well.

We have some more changes planned so we'll let you know when we have a new beta to test out.
Thanks!
We've got a test build of DisplayFusion 11 Beta 1 that we're not quite ready to release to everyone through the auto-updater, but thought you might like to try out as it may resolve the issue you reported. This beta has some very big behind the scenes changes that will improve performance, speed up startup times, re-organizes the main settings window, and adds real time settings changes. We've done a lot of internal testing, but be prepared for a few bugs. We'll collect feedback over the holidays and review it all in January.
Please take a backup of your settings (Settings Options Export) before updating and store them outside of the default folder. If you need to roll back to 10.1.2, you can download it at https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/ and install it over top of the beta.
If you'd like to give it a try, you can download it here: https://www.binaryfortress.com/Data/Download/?Package=displayfusion&v11-test=1

Perfect, I did install it but I'm getting your steam license key failed to load correctly upon installing it. I always need to relaunch via steam.
Ah yep, we were able to reproduce that here so we've added it to our list to look into.
Thanks!
