So this has been happening ever since I've installed so many months ago.The issue I am having is that when I have multiple monitors active, and I try to full screen any flash video (YouTube, Crunchyroll, etc.) in Chrome, the full screen window including the browser window will go to the next monitor and not the monitor it was on. I have to press CTRL+WIN+X 3 times (3 monitors) in order to get it back to where the video was suppose to play originally.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Do you have any Window Location rules setup for Chrome in the DisplayFusion Settings?

Is there a setting that moves the window to the next screen no matter which screen it is currently on? (ie. start 1, full screen 2; start 2 full screen 3; start 3, full screen 1). It does this randomly, sometimes it happens and sometimes it does not. As for creating a rule, for "Window Location" settings tab, there is nothing in there.

There's no built-in setting that would do that, no. Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info?
  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the Copy to Clipboard button
  • Open Notepad, paste the text, and save the file
  • Reply with the text file attached

I saved the log file right when the problem happened. Not sure if it's able to capture what happened, but here's to hoping.

Thanks! The troubleshooting info all looks ok. Would you be able to send a full debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Here it is. 2:28AM PST.

Edit: Would you also be able to tell if shutting down/restarting my PC is changing my mouse? For some reason something is changing my mouse pointer (just the pointer and not any other like i-beam or move) to the default white mouse when I shut down/reboot.

That looks to be just the troubleshooting info still. Could you send me the "DisplayFusion.log" file from the %localappdata%\DisplayFusion folder as well?

Regarding the mouse cursor, I've never heard of that happening before, sorry :(

I didn't see the part about the log. I have it attached and it just happened today at around 3:40PM PST as well if that helps.

Thanks! Could you try disabling the "Enable maximized window dragging between monitors" on the Settings > Window Management tab to see if that makes any difference?

Too soon to tell, but so far so good. I'll try to update within a week if the problem does not arise again

It did it again. The disabling of "Enable maximized window dragging between monitors" did not work as a solution to my problem.

Ok, I'm also seeing Window Snapping entries in the log. Could you try disabling Window Snapping in the DisplayFusion Settings?

Ok, with the maximized window dragging and window snapping still disabled, could you update to 7.3 Beta 2, then send over a new debug log?

I thought the problem went away, but it seems to be just less often now. I'll have to turn on the logging and catch it in action again.

Ok, it just jumped to the next monitor in the middle of a video? I'm not seeing any entries in the log related to DisplayFusion moving the video window at all. If you exit DisplayFusion, does this issue still happen?
