Does the window show up in the desktop area? Or is it just a button/preview on the taskbar?

Thanks for the screenshot! We've looked into this in the past but unfortunately it appeared to be a Chrome bug that we couldn't fix. However, we'll have another quick look at it again to see if there's anything we can do.

Thanks!

If you restart your machine, does GoToMeeting get a taskbar button again?

Ah ok, so you were using the GoToMeeting client to just view a meeting. That's good to know. I'll add this to my list of things to test and I'll see what I can find out.

Thanks!

im not even sure it was functioning incorrectly but it was just something i noticed and since it was kinda related to the chrome issue in this thread i thought i would post something about it and that maybe this isnt just a chrome thing.. i guess i would need to find other things that can go full screen, media player maybe, but im guessing those things work fine..

in another gotomeeting right now and noticing when i drag both the viewing window and the chat box window to another monitor the main window taskbar button stays on the main screen.. if i play around with the button clicking it trying to minimize/maximize the gotomeeting window it then moves to the correct monitor and then disappears..

Ok, thanks for the update! I'll have to see if I can get a trial of GoToMeeting so that I can do some testing with it.

Just a quick update, we've just released DisplayFusion 5.0 Beta 8 (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/), and the Chrome full screen Flash windows shouldn't show up on the wrong taskbar any more.

Thanks!

Does the Windows taskbar show up over top of the video on it's own? Or only when you click outside of the full screen video? (i.e. on another monitor while the video is playing)
Jan 30, 2013  • #14
madLyfe's profile on WallpaperFusion.com
yes it happens when I click somewhere outside of the full screen area..

Ok, that's unfortunately just the way the Windows taskbar works. We're not able to prevent that from happening :(

Not sure why it didn't do it for you in the past, but that's definitely the expected behaviour from the Windows taskbar.

ok thanks for the head up. if you guys manage to replace the main win taskbar with your own(like we've talked about elsewhere) would this be able to be controlled(among other things)?

I believe it would be able to be controlled if we can replace the Windows taskbar with the DF one :)

Are those GoToWebinars live only? Or is it possible to access them any time? I'd like to test the GoToWebinar viewer here, but don't have any way to do it :(

im still getting where the gotomeeting taskbar tab isnt following the window around(i think its the second floating chat window that isnt following to the correct screen) but if i click on it after it gets stuck on the default monitor it then disappears.. not to the correct monitor, its just gone then..

also if i am switching around on the 'virtual workspaces' in my trading software the window taskbar tabs dont stay in any order, they are always just jumbled around.. this is the same for when i start up the trading software.. is there a way to have the order stay the same always unless manually moved? kinda like you have it to where apps open on specific monitors.

For the Gotomeeting issue, does this happen only after moving it using the Move to Next Monitor TitleBar Button, or also if you just drag it to your other screen?

For the trading software, if you have it on the monitor with the Windows taskbar, do the buttons also shuffle around, or does it only happen on the DisplayFusion taskbar?

i have only tested it while dragging it over.. i dont ever remember seeing my title bar buttons on the gotomeeting screens tbh..

it happens on both the windows taskbar and the DF taskbar as well..

Ok, interesting! I'll put a feature request on our list for something that would force the taskbar buttons to stay in the same order, and we'll let you know if we're able to implement it.

Regarding the Gotomeeting issue, if you exit DisplayFusion, then drag it over, does the issue still occur? If it doesn't, could you try again with DisplayFusion running, but with the "Settings > Window Management > Enable maximized window dragging" option disabled?

Sorry, I should clarify that you'll want to disable that option globally in the DisplayFusion Settings, not using a Compatibility rule for just the GoToMeeting app.

Thanks!

I must be getting confused :)

With the GoToMeeting issue, does everything work correctly if you exit DisplayFusion before moving the GoToMeeting window to another screen? Or am I totally confused, and what you're saying is that it runs inside a browser window?

By not going to the correct monitor, you mean that Window Location doesn't work with it?
