Hey,

Ever since the latest update, fullscreen Start always opens on my primary for like 1 second before being moved to the monitor it was initiated on?

Thanks

Yeah, without changing any settings it works fine on the older one.

Ok, interesting! I'll do some further testing here and see what I can find out.

Ok, in my testing it didn't seem to happen in 9.3 either, but I had a different issue, where clicking the Start button would open it, then it would close and re-open. Are you seeing that behaviour on 9.3?

I guess you could call it reopening, only when it reopens it's in the right place. So I click Start on monitor 2, it opens briefly on 1, then closes, and shows up on 2.

Ok, I think this is unfortunately the expected behaviour, due to the monitors being different scaling levels. We had some other Start menu issues in 9.3 with monitors of different DPI scaling, and we fixed those up to make it more reliable, but it can cause the behaviour you're seeing, depending on how quickly the Start menu gets picked up when it opens.

Unfortunately we have to use polling because it's not possible to hook the Start menu in Windows 10 :(
