I have a trigger to run certain functions whenever a process is created. It no longer works with the new update. I have other triggers that work just fine, but when told to run function: 'example' is doesn't work.
Went back to old version for now.

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks for sending that over. Is the function it's supposed to run a Custom function, scripted function, or function built into DisplayFusion?

They are custom functions to launch applications

Strange, they seem to work fine here. Can you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

@Daniel270 Thanks for sending that over, it looks like it's detecting the trigger fine. If you add a "Show notification" action to it, does the notification pop up?

@OscarCruz You can follow the same steps posted in this thread :)

Yeah. Sorry. Didn't got help on time...I wrote my own email just before posting here, and I didn't wanted to hijack this thread.

I just rolled back to a previous install, because someone mentioned this.

I won't be trying to update anytime soon, or testing because I really don't have time to experiment.

Thanks thou.

@Daniel270 If you run those functions manually with a hotkey or titlebar button, do they work?

Ok I tried both with the functions I want to work (launch application) and nothing is happening, but made new funtions to test (launch application with different programs) and those work fine.

Strange, if you recreate your existing functions are they still broken?
