OK, I must be an idiot, because I can't change my avatar. I have a Gravatar account under the same email address that I use here. I set that up a few days back, but I still don't see my custom avatar in these discussions.

What else do I need to do?

My Gravatar user name is different, as 'deanis' was taken. Does that matter?

I'm not sure if you did something on your end, but it's much better now!
