First, thanks very much for Beta 11's preview functionality - a huge step forward.

I assume you are aware the preview doesn't match the native Windows 7 preview in smoothness and polish however. The Windows 7 preview slides and morphs as you hover over each taskbar button, the DF preview seems to jitter and jump, and sometimes I can see the background being drawn behind the previews.

Also, clicking a grouped taskbar button opens the preview on the Win7 taskbar, and doesn't switch focus.

Forgot to mention the missing icon/window title that Win7 has above each preview. If you could reverse engineer the tab preview protocol that firefox/IE support, that would be really neat too!

Still, a wonderful increase in usability.

The animations do need some work, I just wanted to get the functionality out there for people to start testing. :) I'll investigate the focus issue for the next beta. I chose to display a tooltip for each window, instead of the window text, but perhaps I'll re-think this. As for the Firefox/IE tab previews, it's coming (it's quite complicated), so don't worry. :)

Omg omg! I was waiting for this for so long, and now it was here and I didn't even notice.
Was just looking through the settings, couldn't find it, so I went to the forums...

Now I know, that I have to right click the taskbar and enable grouping. This helps SOOOO much!

Thanks! :))

Obviously, I know the whole window Preview thing isn't finished yet, but it would be awesome if you couldn't tell the difference between the windows native taskbar and the Displayfusion taskbar... I'm sure we'll get there though :)

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it! Don't worry, I'm aiming to make them as similar as possible.
