GSYNC / RTX HDR doesn't work unless display fusion is closed or hidden (in the compatibility triggers) for games
I tested it out here and it seemed to work fine. Is your frame rate off when DisplayFusion is running?

by off do you mean is it lower compared to if display fusion is disabled?
Yeah is it lower and/or flucting up and down?
Or how do you know it's not working?

I have the gsync indicator that'll show when it's active (green in the top right corner) and it doesn't show up unless displayfusion is disabled
for RTX HDR it's pretty obvious since the brightness and contrast are much greater when it's on versus just the standard SDR
Ah, I tested out the Gsync indicator here and it seemed to work fine regardless of DisplayFusion running or not. What game are you testing it with?
Also do you have monitor fading enabled in DisplayFusion?

No I do not have monitor fading
One thing I didn't mention is I am using 3 monitors, 2 gsync compatible with 1 gsync ultimate, main one at 175hz and other 2 at 165hz with a displayfusion taskbar on each of the non-main ones
Could this affect it in any way?
I found out just now that even if display fusion is disabled but I ENABLE windows multi-taskbar (show taskbar on all displays), it does the same thing in not enabling gsync and rtx hdr. What could be the issue?

As a holder-on of the old Nvidia Control Panel app, I don't have their indicator... but if I turn on the VRR overlay of my main screen, it says GSYNC when it should and FIXED when I manually turn it off. My second screen is a "business" 60Hz screen with no gaming features but has the DisplayFusion taskbar on. I hear that the newer Nvidia app would not allow me to try RTX HDR with this mix of monitors, so I have no idea about that.
It might just be explorer refreshing when the taskbar gets added that causes it. If you re-enable the indicator and HDR after you add the taskbar, does it work?
