I have been fumbling around with TripleHead2Go Digital all weekend and my frustration level is pretty high with it. I have three monitors (all the same Asus 21.5 inch), the TripleHead@Go compatibility tool says my system is capable of 1920 x 1080 across all monitors. The TripleHead2Go works but the best I can get out of it is 3 monitors with 1680 x 1050 resolution. I have just about had it with the TripleHead2Go with the complicated/confusing software and ready to return it to Amazon.

I ran across DisplayFusion this morning. I have an EVGA GTX-275 video card and want to get all three of my monitors running at 1920 x 1080. Its not clear to me what the hardware hookups are for DisplayFusion. How do I physically hook up monitors 2 and 3 to the video card. Can I get the desired 1920 x 1080 across all three monitors?

I looked at the FAQ's etc. but just not clear on it.

I appreciate any input.

John

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the Matrox hardware, that'd be a bit frustrating!

Unfortunately DisplayFusion can't make your system enable more monitors than the hardware can support. So, if your video card has three outputs, but can only enable two at a time, then you'd need to add a second video card, or a USB display adapter (something like this: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=44_689&item_id=046517) to enable the third monitor.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions at all.

Thanks Keith

My video card (GTX-275) only has the two dvi outputs. Thats why I went for the Matrox which was returned to Amazon this morning. I broke down this morning and ordered a EVGA GTX-660 which has four outputs. That should solve my problem. I wonder if I should use the Nvidia software/drivers to setup the three monitors or will displayfusion give me more capability?

You can definitely enable the three monitors using the Windows and Nvidia tools when you get the new card. After they're setup, you can use DisplayFusion to add a taskbar to all monitors, set different wallpaper on each monitor, etc.

Please let me know if you have any other questions at all.

Thanks!

Great. Soon as I get things all setup and working I will order a copy of DisplayFusion Pro to enhance things. The card was shipped from Amazon today so hopefully I will have it all setup by Monday.

Thanks again keith.

Excellent, glad to hear it! If you want to trial DisplayFusion first, just download and install it without a license key. It should enter an auto 30-day trial. If it doesn't, send an email to us at support@displayfusion.com and we'll send over a new 30-day trial key.

Thanks!
