I can't get that arrow with hidden icons on the second monitor, I have latest 11.1.1 version from steam. Couldn't find any beta to download.

First screen is main monitor, second is the second. Would appreciate some help, thank you.

Probably because your primary taskbar is a Windows taskbar, and the other is a Displayfusion one without that functionality?

Shouldn't be this funcuonality be available?

There one or more topics on this matter, most of them are saying that issue were fixed in some beta in 2023/2024

For example:

I would like to know if this feature is possible, or being developed, maybe I can't find some button to enable it?

The overflow icon should appear on DisplayFusion taskbars. Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Here it is! And while we're at it, I also can't seem to make windows stop at DF taskbar at the bottom, they just go behind it fullscreen, not leaving a space like they normally should, can you help with that too please? Thank you in advance!

Thanks for sending that over, everything looks pretty normal there. Do you have any other third party apps installed that affect the taskbar?

Many things can cause the work area to break, we have an advanced setting called "Enable prompt to restart explorer when issue detected" that should help with that.

Thank you for replying, and no I don't have any other taskbar programs, I've tried startallback without DF after sending logs, and it gives me hidden tray icons arrow on second screen, but I don't really like startallback and rather stick with only DF.
I've tried clean instal and the area seems to be fixed, but I still don't have that arrow. Any ideas?

That's really strange, could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Reproduce the issue (disable, and then re-enable the DF taskbars) and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Sorry for the long reply, too much work :(

I've enabled L1 log, rebooted PC and relaunched the taskbar by disabling it on second monitor and then enabling it back.

So the time would be 25/03/2025 around 23:41 - 23:43

If you can’t find an option to enable it, it’s worth asking the developers directly in the forum or checking the latest patch notes.

Thanks for sending that over, that log gave us some clues. We'll keep you posted when we have anything further.

Thanks!
