Hello, i have been using Display Fusion Pro since 2017 and never had any issues until recently. I started getting 10-30% CPU usage, sometimes it started randomly and other's its as soon as i launch the program.

Since this issue has started i have tried updating windows to 20H2, updated to the latest 9.7.2 Beta 5 & tried disabling Application Hooks and nothing has worked.

I have attached my latest Debug Info.

Hello,

Did this first start happening after any updates (Display Fusion or windows)?

Thanks!

No, it started occuring randomly and has been an issue ever since, even after i have updated. It's not at any specific moment or after i do a specific activity, it just seems random.

Hello,

Interesting, if you head into the advanced settings in DisplayFusion, can you disable all 3 hooks (applications, polling, and shell), and see if there's any difference in CPU usage?

Thanks!

Hello, sorry for the long wait, i have been waiting for the situation to occur since its random.

I disabled all 3 hooks and the cpu dropped from 25% to around 10% and after a little while dropped to 5%. Does this mean i need to keep the hooks disabled until a future update or is there anything i can change that's causing the hooks to use high CPU usage?

Thanks

Hello,

Interesting, can you try to enable them 1 by 1, and see if there's one in particular that causes the spike?

Thanks!
