Just gotten myself a 34" 21:9 3440x1440 monitor. Love the extra space on left/right side. In some cases, editor in middle, material on each side. The problem: Taskbar. Having the Start Menu with pinned icons all the way on the left. Then the System Tray all the way to the right. Less than optimal.

As of now it looks like this (resized to 25%):

Would like some way to adjust it to this:

Should mention. I have an extra 20" monitor in portrait on left side. So I am able to put the 'real' Windows Taskbar there, then keep the DisplayFusion Taskbar on my main 21:9 monitor.

Do not mind if someone educate me if there already is an obvious way to achieve this ? ;)

PS: Still on Windows 7, too much reinstall/config to go 8.1 yet.

You can actually do this with the Splits and Padding in the Monitor Configuration window. See the attached screenshots for reference :)

Hope that helps!

Nice. And yes, it really helps. Gives exactly what I wanted :)

Found some other posts and tested a few settings. For reference, here is what I ended up doing:
- Right-click Windows (native) taskbar, [ ] Lock the taskbar
- - NOTE: Enables resize by DF of native Windows taskbar
- DF Settings / [Taskbar] / [v] Enable Multi-Monitor Taskbars
- - NOTE: Enables DF to take action according to Split settings later
- Right-click DF's taskbar on 2nd monitor, Multi-Monitor Taskbar / Position: (*) Disabled
- - NOTE: I only want one taskbar on main monitor, using native Windows
- DF Monitor Configuration / Splits and Padding:
- - Location: 720 / 0
- - Size: 2000 / 1440
- - NOTE: What I liked on my 21:9 3440x1440

At this point. DF resizes my native Windows taskbar on main monitor into the middle.

Thanks again :)
