Hi, I have a quesiton/feature request.
I have two big 4k monitorssplit into 8 high def virtual screens. As you can imaging, I have screens going all around me.
It is possible to create a hotkey/windo status icon to select which window psition to move a particualr window to, which is great.
However, is it possible to create a hotkey to basically do the reverse i.e. to have a hotkey that brings up the list of windows e.g. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 2.1 etc and be able to select one of these windows and then bring it to a set position, probably a position directly in from of me?

Thanks
Dave

This would be possible with a scripted function, I can write up an example. To clarify, you want to see a list of all open windows, and then when you choose one, it moves it to the monitor that the mouse cursor is currently on?

Hi Keith, yes that is perfect! It will also let me learn a bot about scripted functions :)
Thanks

Ok, here you go!

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Functions tab, click the "Download Scripted" button
  • Double-click the script named "Search for Window and Move it to Current Monitor"
  • Give it a key combination and click OK
  • Optionally, select it, click "Toggle TitleBar Button" (to add it to the caption bar of every application)
  • Click Apply and test it out

Thanks!

Keith, you are the man!

That is awsome:):):)

And, I didn't realise you could write code in VB, this program is brilliant, so many opportunities.

Thanks again
Dave
