I've looked high,low and far yet I can't find anything that talks about what I need. As you see in the picture the button is too high and i'd far away from the rest of the icons. I would be very grateful to learn how to do this.

If you want to adjust them for a specific application, you can do so via the DisplayFusion Settings > Compatibility tab. If you want to adjust them globally, you can do so via the DisplayFusion Advanced Settings > "Button Offset: Horizontal".
