I have a smart plug attached to my 3 monitors. When I leave the house, or turn off all my lights, the monitors get turned off but the computer stays on.
When I turn the monitors back on, all the windows have collected to monitor 1.
What is the best way to put things back where they were automatically?
The windows may change as I have a work and a home profile.

Hello,

This guide here should be able to help you out: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/automatically-save-and-restore-window-positions-on-sleepresume/?ID=fa98975e-e4ed-45de-afe0-fafad56c7a83#first

Thanks!

Looked through that but it doesn't give me what I want or what most of the people in that thread really want.
Is there no way to just have a "when a monitor is connected/disconnected - do this" or "when monitor count increases/decreases - do this"?
This seems to be a big want from people and it seems like it could be an easy thing to add from a coding perspective. Any way to get an FR in for it?

Hello,

We have a "Monitor Profile" changed event in our triggers that might fit your situation better. You can set up monitor profiles based on which monitors you have powered on, and DisplayFusion should automatically detect the profile.

We do have a feature request to improve these guides as well, so I've added your vote to it.

Thanks!
