Hello!

Some time ago I purchased DisplayFusion Pro 5.1 on Steam and ever since I have read about the 6.0 release I have not been able to figure out how to upgrade to 6.0 because it apparently has not been updated on Steam so far.

I am not sure if I'm just supposed to download the regular 6.0 installer from here and use that because I can't be certain that doing so won't mess with the Steam aspect of my existing 5.1 install.

How should an owner of the Steam (Pro) version go about upgrading to version 6.0?

If you launch DisplayFusion from within Steam, it should update, but if not, you can also update by running our installer from our site. Once DisplayFusion has been installed through Steam, the installer from our site will work fine, while keeping the Steam license info and settings intact :)

Alternatively, you can enable automatic update checks on the Settings > Options tab, then click the "Check for Updates" button and you should get an update notification within DisplayFusion itself any time there's a new version.

Hope that helps!

Oh man, I'm so dull. I never launched it from inside of Steam, only from the DF tray icon usually. So I just did that and indeed an installer ran for a couple seconds and it's updated to 6.0, haha.

Thank you, Keith!
