I had been using Windows 10 "extend this monitor" Got 2 monitors. I had installed Fresco Display. (this Fresco may have been needed for the 2nd monitor as I'm using a USB to HDMI adapter. The primary has no video port out. (I think I just answered my own question)Then I wanted more control so I'm on trial with Display Fusion. I was having trouble with some lagging on the 2nd screen. It was suggested that I see if shutting down Fresco would cure the lagging, of the cursor. This cursor lagging may be more prevalent when a page with lots of ads are loading.
I could not find in the Task Manager "Fresco" so I uninstalled it and lost the 2nd monitor. So question? Is windows extend monitors dependent on a program like Fresco? Or now that It's gone can Display Fusion takes it's place? Because when I go to Systems>Display it's not showing "Extend this Monitors" any longer? I could just reinstall Fresco but I'm trying to understand. It appears Dfusion is still running. I see the "move window to next monitor" available. It's just I have no longer a working 2nd monitor?
Much appreciated any direction on this! jack "

Hi Jack,
Lets get Fresco installed back on your computer. Once that's done, can you let me know if you can see both of your monitors in the Windows Display settings again?
As you mentioned, it sounds like Fresco is a software that your second monitor requires to run, and that's something that Display Fusion certainly won't be able to replace.
Thanks!

Indeed! And that's why I believe in restore points. It was a point only a couple of days old and did real well. Allz back to normal. I'm seeing double, which usually is not a good thing but in this case it is!

The lagging is there but not worse. I see all the issues that you are dealing with here with others. Mine is not that I can't use the program so I'll catch you on a really big issue if need be. I'm going to mark this up as an issue caused by using an adapter between the primary and 2nd monitor. And that's my issue. I am going to purchase. I like the program and your cs and attention to us is great!
Count on it. I can't do with one monitor again. And the Windows app just doesn't allow for enough flexibility. Soon.
Thanks Owen!

Hi Jack,
Thanks for the kind words! In the meantime, if you're able to test that monitor with it's adapter on another computer to see if it lags, that would be great.
Thanks!

Owen when I click on Edit Avatar it takes me to this website. To all appearances I don't see right off where to go on this page or how I choose an Avatar for Display Fusion, but I've never known anything associated with WordPress ever to offer something free. It wants me to sign up?? (images here)
Also for whatever reason Dfusion is not loading? Saying something about "no parameters" And "would I like help" it then when to a Faqs page of Dfusion and I see nothing that I understand. My knee jerk was to go back to that Restore Point again where DF ran fine. I have no idea what brings this. It seemed to be working when I turned the PC off last night. (image here)

Here's the link for the gravatar. But it looks as if that's where we are supposed to be. Do I have to sign up there to obtain one?

Owen's off today so I'll help out here!
You do need to create an account on the Gravatar site to set it, but it's free and there's no need to create a Wordpress site or anything like that. Just make sure you register the account with the same email address that you login here. The forums lookup the Gravatar by email address.
Regarding that DisplayFusion error, do you get that when Windows starts up or when clicking on the DisplayFusion desktop icon?
