Hi all,

I'm having a problem that has happened to at least a few of you. It's where DisplayFusion can't tell what the proper text scaling should be. In order to preempt your request, yes I have rebooted the computer. A few times. I've attached the Troubleshooting text.

Update: I completely uninstalled the program (including all settings) and then reinstalled it. Still no change.

If you just do a logout/login instead of a full reboot, does that make any difference?

No difference. I've logged off and on a number of times since then.

Oh wow. I think I figured it out. It's because I'm using two very large 16:9 monitors connected to my *laptop* via a docking station.

When docked, as it is most days I'm at work, I'm using those two monitors with my laptop closed. But while it's closed, it's still drawing its sizing information from the laptop's primary display (which is a retina-like HD touch-screen). The end result is that when I open DF on my laptop screen it looks just fine.

I just wanted to include this note so there isn't some long-awaited-for answer by someone else in the future.

Ah good to know, thanks for the update! We are making some improvements for scaling in the next version as well that should help in this scenario :)

Thanks!

Looking forward to it. I'll happily opt-into beta in a look toward the future.
