Hi,

The scenario is that I work with a bundle of applications at any given time. For example, bundle A include application like SecureCRT, putty etc & bundle B contains Word 2016, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel. Now for each bundle I want to know if the following is possible:

1. First of all save my desired window size for each application in bundle A & bundle B.
2. Depending on which bundle of application is currently active, restore my desired windows size & location of each application.

So in short, the save window position feature act like the Desktop Icon profile. In our Case, Window Profile 1 -> Sort windows (location & size) of Bundle A and Profile 2 for Bundle B. Is this something possible either with Macros or built-in? And does the built-in function only save one copy of window sizing, meaning that if another trigger calls the function it will overwrite the previous value?

Secondly, an automatic profile trigger for this window sizing, to launch if all three options are open?(This is something that maybe over the top and I can understand a Manual switch like Desktop Icon switch -> By right clicking and selecting proper profile but just asking if this is possible with current software)

Thanks.

We're actually planning something like that for a future version. I'll add your vote to the open feature request and we'll be sure to let you know when it's available :)

Thanks!

Thanks Keith.

Just one question, is there a high chance of this making into version 9 stable or the next betas? I know you can't be sure but just a vague idea will do.

It won't be in 9.0 unfortunately, but hopefully for the next version after that :)

The new Window Position Profiles feature may be what you're looking for now. It's available in the current 9.2 Beta, and if you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it!
