I found that moving a GoToMeeting(GTM) window to a different monitor does not move the icon for GTM to the different taskbar. I realize that GTM is an odd program, but am not sure if this is a DF problem or a GTM issue.

Let me know if I can help out with this at all.

Are you using the GTM client (or server/meeting host) version? (sorry if these are dumb questions, I've never used GTM) Are you using the Java/ActiveX/Firefox Addon or anything else version? :)

I'm not much of an expert with GTM either. I'm using whatever client it is that launches when someone sends me a link to join a meeting through GTM. It opens a browser and launches a program, but I don't think it is ActiveX or Java (although it could be, I suppose). I had to install some GTM software as well as browser plugins for this but can't say for sure what installed.

I am running this now, and there sure are a lot of processes as part of the GTM client. There is g2mchat.exe, g2mcomm.exe, g2mlauncher.exe, g2msessioncontrol.exe, g2mstart.exe, g2mui.exe, g2mview.exe.

I have included the troubleshooting log from DF showing the various windows. My center monitor (monitor 1) has the Windows taskbar, which contains the GTM icon. Monitor 2, the left monitor, is where the window is located.

Looking at this further, it looks like GTM has a small window that gets stuck on the primary window for controlling the GTM window. I wonder if this icon in the taskbar is following this tiny little window (which is unmovable), in which case it would be a GTM software problem.

Hopefully this helps a bit. Let me know if you see anything from this or need anything else.

Thanks,

Bob

In an effort to cleanup the DisplayFusion forum, this topic is being locked and archived because it applies to an older version of DisplayFusion. If you are using the latest version of DisplayFusion and would still like some assistance, please create a new topic and I'll be happy to help you out. Thanks! :)
