Firstly Jon, great addition with the taskbar extender. I've been using Ultramon for years but have stopped for the first time. A couple of things I've noticed though:

  • Multiple Excel 2007 windows open on the same screen cause issues (you can only click one and all open) -I know Excel operates oddly in this sense.
  • If you drag files over one of the programs in the tray, the default behaviour is to show/focus the window but this doesn't happen
  • The bar doesn't support Aero atm and just shows the solid background (though this isn't a real issue IMHO)

None of these are major issues, I just wanted to make you aware of them :)

I was going to report this same issue. It's very handy when you have two windows maximised on one monitor and you need to drag an item from one window to the next.

Hi Tim, thank you for the feedback. Let me answer your questions:

1. Excel support is much improved in version 3.0.4, and supports multiple Excel windows correctly.
2. Dragging objects over the DisplayFusion taskbar buttons now restores the window so you can drop in it.
3. I will be working on this for a future version, but not for version 3.1.

Thanks!

I am having a problem with Excel windows too. I assume it is the same problem. I see 3.0.4 was referenced as having improved Excel support but I do not see 3.0.4 as a download option yet. When do you expect to release 3.0.4?

Thanks!

I am planning the 3.0.4 release for the upcoming weekend. :)
