We are looking to make a move to DisplayFusion with 4K monitor splitting but our main application is missing the Move to Next Monitor button. It also appears to disregard the splitting and only see the monitor as one big monitor. We are using Epicor ERP (Solar Eclipse).

I have attached the Window Detective File and an error that appeared when viewing properties.

Any idea if we are able to add the the Move to Next Monitor Button?

It sounds like DisplayFusion isn't seeing the window at all for some reason. Could you attach a copy of your DisplayFusion troubleshooting info when that app is open?

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks! DisplayFusion is seeing it for the taskbar button at least. I'll open a ticket with our devs to see if they can spot anything in the Window Detective info that might point to why it's not getting a titlebar button.

For the splitting issue, does it make any difference if you double-click the titlebar of the app, instead of clicking the maximize button?

From what I can remember it did not make a difference. I will have double check when I am back at the workstation. I will update as soon as I can.

Keith,

I tried both double clicking and the maximize button and it would not stay contained to the window split.

Ok, thanks for trying that! I've added these two issues to our list to see if we can fix them up using the Window Detective info. If we need some more info from you, we'll definitely let you know.

Thanks!

Could you give 9.4 Beta 4 a try? We may have gotten this fixed up but we can't test it here. Please note, this beta has an issue where the wallpaper window doesn't recognize Monitor Splitting, so if you use Monitor Splits + Desktop Wallpaper, please wait for 9.4 Beta 5.

Thanks!
