I'm very glad to see jump list support was added in 4.0! I do have a couple feature requests regarding their usage, however:
1. I tried pinning an app on a secondary monitor. When the app is running, it shows the pinned icon, as well as the regular taskbar item for the app. The native Win7 taskbar doesn't duplicate this-- if the app is running, it just shows the taskbar icon. This would be the preferred way, IMO(or possibly a setting for those that disagree)
2. Recent/MRU support on jump lists is a critical feature for me-- it's the primary reason I use jump lists, period... I think extended jump list support is a nicety(i.e. Outlook's 'New Appointment' and 'New Task' items)-- but simple MRU/recent documents support is very-much needed... I saw in a forum thread that the interface used requires an app ID and not all apps register that ID...Personally, I'd be OK with some manual configuration per jump list item if that's required-- I only have a handful-- such as RDP connections, VS projects, and maybe Excel documents..
Thanks.
