so its taken me quite some time to get displayfusion "mostly" functioning how I want it to.

I use it purely to allow my SLI to function (requires full screen) and keep use of my accessory display without needing to alt-tab and wait for windows abysmal redraw time. Not to mention I play a lot of mmorpg's so having quick access to data/info as I game is a major boon.

Anyhow..

Witcher 3. Yea im late to the party. Finally got it started and in means I use for Displayfusions prevent deactivation in WoW is to start the game - enable the function - hold down alt+tab - scroll my mouse off the side of the screen as I'm holding the aforementioned down.

after I slide it off and back once, no more need for the alt tab workaround. Functions mostly for what I need it for and trust me when I say i waited and worked long n hard to figure that out/get it to that point.

I realize I use a pretty unconventional pc (multiple gpu's/displays etc) but I dont see myself going back to a single card or single display solution anytime soon if ever so its in my best interest to help get displayfusion functioning well across the board.

So before i digress any further.

Using the same M/O in witcher, it works.. but its much more sloppy as after getting the mouse to release from the game screen I then have 2 mouse cursors. As I type this if I move my mouse, the pointer is still present in the witcher window as well and moves in concert/mirrors this one.

purely aesthetic (at least in witcher) but annoying nonetheless.

the problem becomes compounded when in game (i obviously do the aforementioned immediately when I start the game at the title screen).

When in game, witcher links your mouse movement to the camera. This stops the ability to use your mouse outside the game window cold. Ive tried holding alt-tab and sliding right as per usual with nothing. Ironically, pausing the game with ESC will allow the cursor to return to the funky mirroring behavior i mentioned earlier which at least lets me move outside of game again.

Not high priority im sure, but at this point im sure you guys are well aware that many gamers use displayfusion purely for prevent deactivation. Its a feature that should be present within windows or gpu drivers ages ago, but it isnt. the crazy part is it took this long for a third party to put forward soemthing even partially working to fill that gap.

It still needs some work obviously, but what im getting at is you guys can capitalize on owning that niche if you iron it out on a wider scale.

With displayfusions prevent deactivation+synergy I can actually work and game at the same time and its great! (when they both work) lol.

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately that's not something we'd be able to fix. Prevent Window Deactivation just intercepts the "lost focus" message that would normally get sent to the game window and throws it away, so that the game doesn't know that the focus has switched to something else. Unfortunately, some games will behave weirdly when that happens, because they're not tested or developed to handle that scenario.

Sorry for the bad news!
