Hello,

We have a situation where we have a PC with a Display Port and an HDMI connector. When I look at Windows Display Properties the Display Port is the number 1 Monitor and the HDMI is the number 2 monitor. We are in a situation where we always need the HDMI to be the Main Display.

Right now I can set this on the PC through the windows (or Display Fusion) settings. However, if I then move the PC to another set of Monitors it swaps back to the default.

Can someone tell me if there is a way, with Display Fusion, to set the monitors so that the HDMI is main monitor and is on the left, and the Display Port is on the right. And then save that so that every time the system starts that is how it comes up, even if we move the PC to new monitors?

Thanks.

Are the other monitors the same make/model? Or at the very least, are the the same screen resolution and refresh rate?

Hello,

No the second set of monitors are a different make and model. The resolution is the same, 1920x1080 on HDMI and 3840x2160 on the Display port.

Thanks.

Ok, can you check in the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration window to confirm that the refresh rate is the same for both sets of monitors as well?

Ok, great! In theory, you should be able to save the Monitor Configuration as a Monitor Profile, and load the Monitor Profile on either machine :)
