I have a two monitor setup on my PC. On the right is a wide-screen monitor (3440x1440) and a normal monitor (2560x1440) on the left. The left monitor is set as my primary. I do my graphic design on the right monitor with programs like Photoshop and Pixinsight.

At night I shut off power to both monitors, but leave both Photoshop and Pixinsight running on the PC and displayed on the right monitor. When I power up the monotors in the morning, both Photoshop and Pixinsight are displayed on the left monitor. I have to drag them back to the right monitor for work. How do I prevent them moving from the right monitor to the left monitor?

There isn't a way to prevent that from happening, but this guide will help with moving them back: https://www.displayfusion.com/HelpGuide/AutomaticallySavingAndRestoringWindowPositionsOnDockUndock/

Thanks Owen.
I went through the instructions and got stuck on the following in the Actions popup:
In the pop-up, select "Save Window Positions" and click "OK."
There is no Save Window Position selection.
This may be a newer version. Please advise.
Thanks. Eric

It should be the same, I just double checked it here. The function will be under the "Window Managment" section in that dropdown list.
