Hi guys,

After upgrading (struggling) from Build 17025 to 17083 (needed to uninstall Avast Premier and CCleaner!!!), starting to see the following when first logging into Windows 10:

The Key Combination bind failed:
• Move Window to Centre of Monitor and Size to 75% 'Ctrl + Win + S'
The Key Combination is already in use. There are a few reasons why this can happen:
- The Key Combination is already assigned elsewhere in this application
- Another application is already using this Key Combination
- A built-in Windows function is using this Key Combination

Please edit or remove the Key Combination in the settings.

Thought you should know.

Regards,
Stephen

That error message will show up if another application has already registered that key combination as a global hotkey. In this case, the latest Windows 10 insider build keeps that hotkey for itself now :(

If you don't use the "Move Window to Centre of Monitor and Size to 75%" key combination in DisplayFusion, you can disable it by doing the following:

  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings
  • Click the Functions tab
  • Find the "Move Window to Centre of Monitor and Size to 75%" function in the list
  • Double-click it, then clear the key combination
  • Click OK, then OK again on the main Settings window

Hope that helps!

I guess so - but thank you, Keith.

Sorted. I just didn't want to upset anything if there was going to be an update from DisplayFusion.

I am using the free version - how do I get get rid of this error?

There is no 'Settings' and 'Wallpaper Settings' has no 'Functions' Tab.

@Ric: Updating to 9.2 Beta 3 will resolve it as well (it automatically removes that key combination from the DisplayFusion Settings).
