My daily driver is a laptop connected to a Thunderbolt dock, to which I have my two monitors connected via HDMI. It seems like almost every other day, Windows 11 decides to change the monitor numbers (so if #2 was on the left and #3 was on the right, now #2 is on the right and #3 is on the left) which means my monitor profile in DisplayFusion doesn't trigger since the monitor setup doesn't match.

I'm guessing this is a Win11 bug, or something related to the docking station, but is there a way to force load a monitor profile at boot?

Owen Muhlethaler (BFS)'s profile on WallpaperFusion.com
You can create a trigger in the DisplayFusion settings that uses the "DisplayFusion Starts" event, and then add the function to load your monitor profile.

Hope that helps!

I'm having a similar problem. But this seems to have fixed the issue of Windows reassigning monitor Id's.
