Using LG C2 as my main desktop monitor - HDMI 2.1 connected to RTX4090 GPU
Have 3 Gigabyte DisplayPort monitor setup in a triples format for playing car racing games.
DisplayFusion does a good job of setting the triples profile, which turns off the LG TV.
When trying to use the LG TV profile it cannot wake the TV, so just goes back to the triple monitor profile.
Trying to get back to the LG desktop TV is a pain as I have to carefully time pressing the power button from the LG remote just as I change the profile in DisplayFusion - the LG TV has a very short time period where it will go back into standby mode if no signal is detected.
I have another program (LG Companion - Github) which is used to basically make the TV operate in the same way as a monitor would, sleeping and waking up (using the WOL functionality acticated in the LG settings). Works perfectly.
I tried to use the Remote Control option (Android Pixel 4a) however it could not see my PC, despite ensuring I manually entered the static IP address (set in the routers DHCP address table for LAN devices) associated with the PC where DisplayFusion is installed. I had hoped maybe the Remote Control would have a 'Power on' option for the LG TV or some way to trigger a power on event as the profile from the triples to the LG was activated, but I have given up on the app - incidentally it took about 10 times for Google Playstore to even let me download it, kept saying the app was not available.
No local internet issues, ran multiple speed/latency/ping tests to rule out local networking issues.
Really need to get this working, but at this stage the free app 'Multiple Monitor Tool' from Nirsoft does perhaps a slightly better job as it at least wakes the LG TV, but for some reason leaves two of the Gigabyte triples on too, which is an easy task to disable them once I'm at my desk.
Hopefully you can help with this as I am willing to purchase the app if it allows a simple click (keyboard shortcut) to switch effortlessly between the LG and the triples setup.
Thanks!
