Hi,

I recently got myself a lovely Surface Go and a ZenScreen Go for the ultimate portable office combo (in my humble opinon).

The Surface Go "Intel Gold" processor is perfectly adequate for my needs. I have to be careful not install too much or it will get overwhelmed.

To this end, I would love to run DisplayFusion mainly for the the taskbar managment features but very little else.

Is it possible to disable modules / functionality to reduce the resource usage?

Regards
Al

You can disable most of the features using the respective options in the Settings window. There are a couple of Advanced Settings you can enable to help a bit with CPU as well (though they may affect DF performance a bit):

  • Application Hooks: Disable Application Hooks
  • General: Run as a Low Priority Process

Hope that helps!

Thank you for this Keith.

How does the licensing work please - my desktop PC is licensed; will I need a second license for my laptop?

Thanks in advance

You can upgrade to the Pro Personal version which would allow you to run it on both. Could you contact us and let us know you'd like to upgrade? We'll send the details over.

Thanks!
