I have one system where I am constantly recording the secondary monitor through OBS. I usually record in hourly segments, then click a few buttons on the second monitor and start recording again.

I want to continue to use the main monitor while recording the secondary, however, if anything drifts onto the second monitor, it would ruin the recording and I'd have to start all over, losing an hour. Fortunately for me, the option to lock my cursor to a single monitor is already present in DF. I just need to make sure a window won't enter into the other screen while moving it.

I have looked all over the forums and online in general, and can find no option in DF or other apps yet to lock window movement / resizing to a single monitor. I think an extension to the window snap feature would do what I need (snap to single monitor), but I don't see it anywhere. I am fortunate that Windows 10 in general won't spawn a window in a way that would overlap a second monitor, but if I move a window around on the main screen I'm scared a little might peek into the second monitor. I am aware that I can "gather" windows to a single monitor if they are somewhere else via hotkey, but that's not what I need, since only the apps that have been previously moved to the second monitor have the chance of spawning there without coercion.

I just want to know if it can be done through DF. If not, perhaps this is one of those great features that could be added. I know thousands of streamers would thank you to be assured that no windows would accidentally drift onto their streaming screen when moving them. It would also be useful when others are watching something on a second TV screen while someone is using the computer for other tasks.

Thanks for checking out DisplayFusion! We have a feature request on our list for something like this, so I've added your vote to it. I can't say whether it's possible to implement, but if we're able to add it in a future version, we'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks!
