Hey I've done a bit of searching around but can't seem to find a solution to this. I recently got a 21:9 montior and displayfusion will not change the logon screen correctly. it will change the image to the one that I specify but it will always display it in 16:9 rather than 21:9, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix this. Cheers in advance

What do you have the Sizing drop-down set to on the Settings > Windows Logon tab?

Have now tried all of the different options and they all have the same result. If it's any help, even the default windows screen has the same issue, I just didn't know if it was solveable using displayfusion

What's the resolution of the image, and what's the screen resolution of your monitor?

They're both 3440x1440

[EDIT] The image is also 230KB so is under the 256KB limit

Could you attach the image here so that I can test it out here? If you could attach a copy of your troubleshooting info (steps below) as well, that would be great!
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Seems to work ok for me, see the attached screenshot. Are your settings any different than mine?

Weird, so it looks fine in the DisplayFusion Settings, but not when you actually lock the computer?

Is your computer current with all Windows Updates? I remember Windows 7 used to have a dimensions limit on the logon background image (maybe 1920x1080?) but it was removed in a Windows Update at some point.

Ah, that must have been the problem! I have updated windows (I had auto updater turned off about 4 years ago) and it's working perfectly now! Thank you for your help and patience!
