I have 3 monitors.. I have them split into 3. Left monitor has icons and most of the icons in taskbar and a few on the far right... Can I move everything to far right (kinda like the main monitor. The far right is kinda closer and easier for me to read because I am using a l shape desk. Make sense? I hope. I am using Windows 7x64.

Thanks. I know I can move the screen once I open it but everything is on far left.

Could you send a screenshot for reference? I'm having trouble visualizing your setup :)

Thanks!

Hey Keith....here's the pic. Ignore the picture of the bottom monitor, its a usb monitor. Not worried about that. The three monitors are on a Matrox Triplehead2go..I am using a split padding in your monitor configuration. You will notice at the bottom.. The task bar goes across all three with most of the desktop icons on the far left.. and.. the other part on the far right. Probably nothing you can do.. since matrox see's it as one monitor. Is there any way to have everything show up on the far right monitor...icons.. taskbar and the other two monitors with no icons or taskbar...Complicated...lol.. You won't ruin my day if nothing can be done. No sweat :)

I have talked with you before and you have a wonderful product and support.

Happy Holidays!!

Ok, thanks! There are a couple of options here. You can use Monitor Splitting to create a separate taskbar on each monitor, and leave it that way, or you could go one step further and move the Windows taskbar to the right-most monitor and disable the other two taskbars.

To enable the Monitor Splits:
  • Open the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration, click the monitor and then click "Splits and Padding"
  • Choose 3x1 from the Preset drop down and click OK
  • On the Monitor Configuration window, make sure the Taskbars feature is enabled in the "Use these features with splits" section, then click OK again
  • If you want to move the Windows taskbar to the right split, you can set the "Taskbar: Windows Taskbar Split Monitor ID" option in the Settings > Advanced Settings window to 103
  • To disable the DisplayFusion taskbars on the other monitors, right-click them and choose Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Position > Disabled.

For the desktop icons, you should be able to just drag a selection box around them and drag them to whichever monitor you want them to be on :)

Hope that helps!
