Hi Marco,

Are you referring to maximizing a window, or making a window full screen (like a Youtube video)?

Thanks!

no only maximize window
fullscreen is better if it remains fullscreen (for video players/games taking all the screen)

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Hi Marco,

Thanks for sending that over. If you open the DisplayFusion Monitor Configuration window, you can enable "Window Management" under the "Use these Features with Split Monitors" section, and it should do that for you.

Thanks!

yes but it doesn't work if i use Windows 10 commands/funtcion like
- dragging window to top of the screen
- shortcut win+shift+arrow to move windows from on monitor to the other (
I know that displayfusion has its own method but i don't like it because the movement is slow and windows reduces size and then mamximize again
- moving video player window shakes the window showing taskbar and the wallpaper of under the window (only the part on the screen where the window "is not" there.-...i don't know if it make sense or i have to explain better)
and is there any chance to prevent mouse cursor to go in that part of the screen unless im holding a key like shift / ctrl / alt / win ?

Unfortunately Windows isn't able to see our splits natively, so those functions won't work with our splits.

Could you send over a video of that video player issue as well?

We have mouse cursor functions to lock to specific windows or monitors that you can add key combinations to in the DisplayFusion Settings > Functions tab. Preventing the cursor from moving to a specific point on the monitor isn't something we support.

This is currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to it. We'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in the future.

Thanks!

Still on the list? i know someone else who needs this feature, He could be interested in the software if you add it.
it's only an "extension" to something already in the software, not a brand NEW function.

Is there an option to maximize a single Window onto all screens in case of a multi-monitor/screen setup? AMD had that feature as part of their drivers. Does DF have that? Otherwise, love your work :)

We have a "Span Window Across All Monitors" function that should do this, but it will only work for non-fullscreen windows.

Thanks for the kind words!

You also have this function described in this thread

https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/maximize-a-window-to-span-between-2-3-monitors/?ID=13dc5bc0-4a70-4167-873a-83658ce743b1

So it all works like a charm. Thanks a mill
