I've tried to put my 4x4k, 2x2k, and 2x1080p monitors all in a horizantal span/line, but with more than six monitors, Display Fusion reverts to the default arrangement of monitors, which is a mess, after hitting apply or ok. If I stack the last two monitors vertically, it's fine.

I'm using the latest stable version if that helps. I've also attached the troubleshooting log.

I'm not aware of a max, but we'll definitely check it out. Does it revert back to the default mess while you're still trying to drag them all into line, or only after clicking Apply?

After clicking Apply. And thank you!

Ok, thanks! I did find this thread which might be relevant: https://superuser.com/questions/778863/what-is-the-maximum-desktop-resolution-in-windows

If you try to set the same layout in the Windows display settings and apply it, does it work?

The superuser thread is for Windows 8/10, Windows 7 has a lower limit, about 8K in either direction. Also, the NVIDIA drivers are pretty strict about enforcing this limit while the AMD drivers are not.

Yes I tried that, same behavior and issue.

Ah ok, then yeah, it sounds like you're running into the limit on the desktop size. Stacking them would be the only way to get around it :(
