When using DisplayFusion and Microsoft Lync 2010 at the same time Lync is extremely slow and unresponsive. This is running the latest version of Lync and DisplayFusion on a Windows 7 64 bit system. Any other information you might require please ask.

Can you please give the new Beta 6 a try, it has improved thread locking and other performance improvements:

I installed the v3.3.1 Beta 6 and it is still lagging. It does appear that the lag is not as bad as before. I will keep it running here at work and see how the performance is.

All right after further testing I am unable to use DisplayFusion. It still causes extreme lag in Lync 2010.

Can you please try the latest beta (Beta 9)? We've resolved some more issues with unresponsive windows so hopefully it's fixed up your issue with Lync.

Thanks!

I installed 3.3.1 Beta 9 and tried it and the windows lags noticeably when opening a new message. Everything else seems to be fine and it does appear to be quicker. In truth I did not restart after uninstalling and also was wondering if there are any previous files that might be interfering from previous installations. I will go and uninstall the files and then check the registry, install paths, and all other paths that windows might have stored files, restart, and try again.

Ok cool. If you could try that out that would be fantastic. All of the DisplayFusion registry settings are located under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion

In an effort to cleanup the DisplayFusion forum, this topic is being locked and archived because it applies to an older version of DisplayFusion. If you are using the latest version of DisplayFusion and would still like some assistance, please create a new topic and I'll be happy to help you out. There are also beta versions available for testing the latest features and bug fixes:

Thanks! :)
