Middle clicking on the "Window Preview" should close the corresponding window. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. I can't find any pattern to reproduce this as it seems sporadic whether it works or not. Although I notice it more for windows that have been open a longer time and activated/deactivated several times, rather than newly opened windows that are being closed straight away.

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue in 4.0.1 B4, would you be able to update and let me know if the issue still occurs? If it does, is it possible that it's happening with specific applications?

Thanks!

The application was Notepad2, however after updating to beta 5 and rebooting I haven't seen it recurring, please go ahead and mark this as closed.

Seems like I'm having this problem again on 6.0.1, anyone else able to reproduce it this time?

Sorry for the delay, wanted to test again after a reboot, I can confirm it's not working on all windows.

Ok, strange! Could you send over a debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "Logging: Important Only"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • The next time it occurs, note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log
