Hi.. I have a few programs that are always running in the system tray (system monitor, FARR)... These programs are set to minimize to system tray upon exit.
Since installing DisplayFusion - these programs will minimize to they tray upon close... BUT - the program icon remains active in the windows toolbar... this never happened before and I don't like it.
Is there a setting I missed to have these items NOT display on the taskbar (since they are minimized to the system tray)?
Thx!

Is this an isolated issue that no one has encountered or is DisplayFusion unable to realize these apps are in the system tray and lose the icon on the taskbar? Thx.
Are you on DisplayFusion 9.3 or 9.4 Beta 3?
We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating. Please note, this beta has an issue where the wallpaper window doesn't recognize Monitor Splitting, so if you use Monitor Splits + Desktop Wallpaper, please wait for 9.4 Beta 5.
Thanks!

I have a similar problem (using DisplayFusion Pro on Steam 9.5 and Windows 10 Enterprise).
A couple of applications I use (
Microsoft Teams and
Franz) are always on the system tray and they themselves have an option to minimize to the tray. If I move them to the monitor that has the default Windows taskbar and "close" them (by clicking on their window's X button), they disappear from the taskbar and remain on the tray only, which is the desired behaviour; however, if I move them to the monitor running DisplayFusion's taskbar, their icons remain on the taskbar instead. Neither of them is pinned to either taskbar, FYI.
Interestingly enough, both Discord and Slack do
not have that problem at all -- their icons are successfully removed from DisplayFusion's taskbar when I minimize them to the tray.
Is there any way I can configure DisplayFusion to forcefully remove those applications from the taskbar when I minimize them to the tray?
Thanks,
Luciano.

Thanks! Is there a page where I can browse the existing issues?

There isn't, no. We keep our feature request/issues lists internal.

I have the same issue with Microsoft Teams. I can force minimize to tray using the displayfusion function, but then when I get new messages, the window pop up does not come back and alert me so I miss messages, which is a problem.
